Cette bascule de type d déclenchée par front d'impulsion de 16 bits est opérationnelle à 0.8-V à 2.7-V VCC, mais est conçue spécifiquement pour 1.65-V à l'opération de 1.95-V VCC.
Le SN74AUC16374 est particulièrement approprié à mettre en application des registres de tampon, ports d'entrée-sortie, chauffeurs de bus bidirectionnels, et à travailler des registres. Il peut être employé en tant que deux bascules à 8 bits ou une bascule de 16 bits. Sur la transition positive de l'entrée de l'horloge (CLK), les sorties de Q de la prise de bascule aux niveaux de logique installés aux entrées des données (d).
